Why is that? The most obvious trick that I didn't catch when comparing the two before buying: Scoop size/protein in grams. Andy Rooney always complains about this type of thing, so I guess he is my mentor in this case... Whey Gold: 1 scoop = 24 grams protein. Platinum: 1 scoop = 30 grams protein.
