Let me tell you about this stuff! All L-Carnitine is not created equal! I started taking L-Carnitine a couple of years ago because I don't eat meat; the L-Carnitine product I got at Walgreen's didn't do a thing; the Whole Foods Market brand worked well-- but I had read that the Optimum was one of the best, so I gave it a try. I took the Optimum for two months and I felt great; but little did I know just how great, until I ran out of it for a couple of days... It was like running into a brick wall; my energy level plummeted without it! 500 mg of anything else is NOT like 500 mg of the Optimum Nutrition L-Carnitine! I've been in a weight loss; muscle building mode for awhile already; and I've been extremely successful. I am convinced this product enhances the body's ability to turn fat into energy.

Before taking L-carnitine I was at a five month plateau with my weight loss. I decided to take a leap of faith by supplementing with L-carninine as a fat burner...it worked. I lost ten pounds and am finally at the point that I see definition in my abs and legs and am starting to see shape in my arms. Great product! Gave me amazing energy too. At one point I was able to do 80mins of crossfit on an empty stomach without hitting "empty". I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about taking their physique to the next level but needs a little extra push.

Although it is a non essential amino acid that is produced naturally in the body I did see a difference upon taking this item. I work overnight and workout in the am after my shift. Let me tell you along with a few other products this helped to boost my energy levels. I take 2 tablets twice daily before meals and I mainly got it for its fat burning/transferring abilities and have received a number of comments after taking it for only about 2 weeks. It was deliverd in condition and by date guranteed...
